MOOOOO HOOTY, Lynette!

Glad you had a fab evening with your DD. I need to watch the HSM movies one of these days.

Marita, glad you finally had your beef stew. Maybe your son will stop by tomorrow for some leftovers. Bummer about the defective pressure cooker. I don't own one, but I remember cooking using my mom's and MIL's when I was younger. My MIL always used her pressure cooker "bottom" with a regular lid to pop popcorn back before microwave popcorn became so popular.

Hi, Tammy. It sounds like Jeanie is really getting to be a big girl!

E, isn't it fun to embarrass your daughter at the store?! I can still embarrass mine without even singing :rotfl2:

Hi Moo! Yes she is. And growing really fast. She's so smart.

Hey Marita, glad to hear you have leftovers. you could always send some this way! And sorry about the pressure cooker! (And the extra trip back to the store.)

WHATEVER, Rob. :)
:ssst: Shhhh..... the people on this thread still think I'm "normal". :hyper:

If you sit still long enough, I WILL put some lip gloss on you.
What's the opposite of girlie girl? Oily Boy?
The girls WILL be dressed up, by the way. Glitter will be included.
Can I get some glitter too? You know, to go along with the lip gloss.

Sons too! My DS15 lurves going out with me to public places, especially when I enter the Wal-Mart via the little 4-foot tall opening in the exterior wall (that is used as an access point for the shopping carts for them when the stockpersons bring the carts in from the parking lot). He also enjoyed it  today when I said my classic line, "This place smells like a men's room!" fairly loud while we were, of course, in the men's room at the convenience store.

(PJ: who sang that?)
George Strait. And no, I did not google. I think those are the only questions of yours I get right...country music.

:ssst: Shhhh..... the people on this thread still think I'm "normal". :hyper:
The people on this thread? As in everyone? Because, um, I sure as heck don't!!!

I read back. Sure did. I know about Hannah Montana and beef stew and snow and imaginary friends and girlapalooza and everything else. See, I proved it.

Went to see my grandma this afternoon. She is finally eating again after a 2 day hunger strike and "just let me die" situation. She is beyond cranky having now been in the hospital for 10 nights. She's probably having heart surgery on Monday. I ditched my hotT college chick plans for the evening because I was extremely mopey after visiting gma. Had my aunt and grandpa over for dinner instead. My grandpa isn't handling all this too well so I made his favorite dessert, red velvet cake, to cheer him up. After they left I went home and dog-napped the dog and now I'm feeding her popcorn and I think we're going to go sit in front of the illegal space heater. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I just need one of my animals. Me, my illegal dog, and my illegal space heater. Boy, I sure hope they do random inspections tonight!

PJ-

G'night moovers. I do enjoy my late night chats with my little ones. However they are all sleeping so I should be too.

I was looking for a smiley for something else and I decided we clearly needed some posted here.

I really like these guys.

I think someone likes this smiley but I think he looks like he's picking his nose.

A bedtime song. Because I like it and I'm listening to it. Name it, bbn.

It's a long trip alone over sand and stone
That lie along the road that we all must travel down

So maybe you could walk with me awhile
And maybe I could rest beneath your smile
Everybody stumbles sometimes and needs a hand to hold
'Cause it's a long trip alone

It's a short piece of time but just enough to find
A little peace of mind under the sun somewhere

So maybe you could walk with me a while
And maybe I could rest beneath your smile
You know we can't afford to let one moment pass us by
'Cause it's a short piece of time

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

PJ..... Glad Grandma is eating and how sweet of you to cook dinner and red velvet cake for Grandpa. Lots of prayers for Monday. (I don't know that song but I like the words.)

ROB....What fun are teenagers if we can't embarrass them once in a while? (What's with Grandpa Jones is your siggie? I keep meaning to ask that.)

Thanks for the birthdays, everyone! I'll update the list later. Gotta cook the BIG lunch today and then on to the Super Bowl parties.

HAVE A GOOG ONE!

Have a great day, Moovers!

BTW: lash tinting is lame. My eyelashes are slighty darker now, but they still look wimpy and skimpy. No way I could go without mascara, which is what I was hoping. Oh well, live and learn, right? On the up side, my nails look tres bien!

Hannah Montana was super fun with my DIS/real life friends last night. I haven't had that much fun in goodness knows when. Here's Norah all ready for the concert. Her hair is 2 inches longer when I straighten it :cutie: . I think she looks all grow'd up. But compared to the 6 and 10(?) year old, she's tiny.

At the Mayan restaurant, which has an ancient Mexico theme that felt like The Tiki Room meets the Lion King, with a pinch of the Indiana Jones (ride) queue mixed in. They have cliff divers in teeny loin cloths diving every 20 mins. or so. We 3 mommies may have "woo hoo'd" like dirty ol' ladies.

Anyway, here are the girls with a Mayan shaaman, who I made the mistake of calling a princess

The 3-D concert was a blast. Prolly better than the real thing because you're RIGHT there on stage with her and back stage too. Twas goog!

You know...for those of you who have been following her trip report...I don't understand why she is so bitter. If ANYONE has any right to be bitter---it ought to be me. Guess right now I'm too buy being angry and then angry about being angry. Aw heck...who cares.

Ya, pretty please don't post stuff like this. :flower3:

Wendy!!! Where is that restaurant? It looks so cool!

And Norah looks adorable, BTW!

PJ Hope you had a goog night's rest... :grouphug:

Wendy :cool1: and I chuckled at the "Princess" oops. What a beautiful girl's night out!! I want to visit you!!

Thanks TooT! It's in Sandy, Utah at Jordan Commons. It's got pretty good food, I'd say. But I don't get out much. Rainforest Cafe-ish.

It really is a blast. Hurry and come for a Utah visit soon!

OOPs, Sandy, you snuck in there. She spoke to us in some funky Mayan language. We just interpretted everything intentionally wrong. Like, "Whats that? You said you want to buy us dinner?"

Wendy! Did the girls love Hannah/Miley?
:cheer2:
I am a bad mother and did not take any pics. We went to dinner @ Abuelos after the concert. If you ever go there, get the Dip Sampler as your app.

the photos are fantastic.......I love her "grown up look"......you tell her that she is adorable for sure......

I am not a mod on this board....but hope that we can keep peace in the "family" here.......I love this second family time.....right here on the dis....

Uma, the kids look great. Norah looks so pretty and almost grown up in the close up!

Bonnie, skip lash tinting, check!

Steph, HI

I have to do dishes and laundry today, and return the pressure cooker, Beuerk!
