Ok, you Northerners need to indulge this Southern girl a little bit. My son just let the dogs go out to the bathroom, and he hollored for me to come look. Well, I quit DISing (for just a moment), and looked out on the deck and there is a sprinkling of snow out there. It's not much at all, but it is such a rare occurrence down here that we get excited for the least little bit.

Funny thing, it was 55 degrees when I went out to run this morning. While listening to my cheapo CVS radio, the guys on the radio station were saying that the temp was 55 and the high today was going to be 51. Uuhh, isn't 55 higher than 51? Wouldn't that make our high for today be say uh 55? Guess they don't have the brightest DJ's down here in Bama.

Well, by the time I finished running, it dropped 10 degrees, and now we are at 32, with a sprinklin' of snow.

Allie, that's so cool! I love snow for the first 5 minutes then it's a huge burden. We have spring-like weather here. Which if my calculations are correct, will be followed by a huge storm or two, then the real spring will come. And just when all the blossoms are blossoming, another storm will ruin it. I predict.

It's warm enough for the dogs to sleep outside now. Which is nice. They need a bath.

Wendy, I think we're going to have that same kind of winter/spring here. The roads are crumbling to pieces due to all the freeze/thaw/rain events we've had. They'll never fill all the potholes I think the accident I saw on my way to the doctor's office today had to have been pothole-related.

Wendy - we are already there. The forsythia plants are getting their buds already. My neighbors daffodils are poking their heads up, so Spring is a comin'. Hope this cold snap doesn't ruin it.

I managed to get my repaired toenail infected, Wendy.

I'm thinking it may be a puppy poo related infection - they're a little too interested in their poopsicles

morning everyone.........yippee everyone had school so I stayed in my housecoat this morning.......we only got 8 or so inches .....but it is heavy snow.

My eyes are this......I have had gluacoma for over fifteen years I think.....I do drops in the evening before bed......I used to do drops in the morning and then in the evening.....but medical science got a new drug for one drop at night...I also have cataracts....oh well......I will do it but will wait until after our vacation. I have both eye problems in both eyes......so it will be a one visit to the hospital and then two weeks later the other eye will be done...
Funny thing is ......I can take my glasses off some days and see better with them off......I can see the computer screen without them .......he said this is because of the cataracts.....distorts our vision......oh well....
Your puppy photos are adorable........gotta love our furbabies......and glad that you who have boo boos are better and those who are ill are feeling better and those who are going on a cruise FEEL GREAT.........we are all excited for you Marita...

almost forgot.......my baby was born 36 years ago today......she and her big brother were our greatest joy.....another 27 in our life.....married on a 27....our son was born on the 27......our god daughter on the 27 and our little baby girl on the 27.......we love our kids so much.....we are lucky honest

It is also the birthday of our oldest, whom I did not give birth to, but I have child custody stories that would make your hair curl I am so thankful that he lives with us- his situation a real example of God doing exceedingly abundantly more than you can ask or imagine.

Melinda-Chuck-A-Rama is better than the other mentioned chain buffets in my area. But still a buffet. Everything is buttery or greazy.
My kids all ate their weight in macaroni and cheese and frozen yogurt toppings.

Wendy, I feel like I only got a nanosecond of sleep too. Ugh, lots of running around these past few days. I think I sat down for a total of 23 seconds yesterday! Driving hither and yon, schlepping the kids to their various activities and stuff. Boris had a doctor's appointment yesterday....it's always so much fun to see how much he's grown since the last appointment.

Speaking of growing, Happy Birthday to Twinkie's bonus son (who STILL needs a nickname, btw!).
