8 years ago, I gave birth to the prettiest little boy ever! I'm not kidding, he was as girl looking as HE could be. Luckily, he's all boy. I could put him in blue from head to toe and still get comments on my beautiful daughter.

morning everyone.......yesterday I went to the eye doctor and as I figured out the eyes are worse. I can see with both eyes working together but one at a time forget it. He said when I was ready to call the office and make the appointment......then I spazzed out and said.......IF I have this procedure done you will have to knock me out.......I am a big wuss.......I cant even imagine laying there and letting them cut my eyes open......NOPE.....so he said that he would make sure that I have this done and I would be comfortable and he would be too......so I am wondering when I should do it.........I think I will wait until after our vacation. Then maybe I will do it......not sure when yet.

Okey ......I am not a happy camper.......we are in for the dreaded S N O W.......four letter word for sure........probably a foot of snow ......this will probably mean no school tomorrow........I mean we have had 7 snow days already and the kiddos will be going to school until June 20th as it is now....one more day added on......The city has not removed our snow on our sidewalks yet and it makes for a narrow passage......

Hope you are all okey......and a vacation is any time away from doing dishes or making the beds....SO MARITA......even if you go to a hotel away from your house.....have a breakfast the next morning and sleep in .....to me that is a vacation away from home......I am anxious for you to report back to us on your trip...

It has been snowing all day. Just got back from skating and it is really slippery.

I can now stay in and watch all my shows tonight. Why do they put everything on at the same time. Biggest Loser, Big Brother (this one is a train wreck but can't stop watching), and Idol.

All this and get the kids to bed and finish their homework up. Hope tomorrow isn't a snow day because Nicholas has his skating and a movie, just like Hannah had two weeks ago.

DH is thinking of booking the snorkerling on CC, the bike tour, and the stingray (?) petting thingy. Plus he keeps bugging me to not to worry about money and book the hot stone massage on deck I read about. So I am torn.
And I am still not so thrilled about snorkeling. And I have not been on a bike since I was a teenager

I might just hold out on massage till we are onboard.

Hugs to Pumba - make sure it's not a problem to wait to get your eyes taken care of. I have had Lasik so I can attest that they CAN make you comfy. The Valium really helped me relax We got a few inches of snow today. I drove really carefully on my way home from work tonight. It was slick out there because it cooled down so much.

Pumba, what kind of surgery do you need? Glaucoma or Lasik? My eye doctor said I will need glaucoma in a few years, My mom had it a few years ago, and she never really complained about pain.

Moo, will post a picture of the bathing suit if it survives the washing machine and I can find a mannequin to put it on

The problem with booking the massage right now is that I don't know what our family schedule is yet. I would rather spend time with them than getting kneaded by a stranger (did I just say that???). Stay tuned for further developments. Hope your toe gets better soon!

Marita -- you can book on a massage when you are on board. You can even just check the spa out on the first day. They well show you around and tell you what they offer. They do this when everyone is boarding because there is now appointments then so you can go in the rooms. Go for it !!!

Moo -- glad you made it home safe and sound. We have slick roads too. Sorry about the toe. Is that the one you had fixed up not to long ago.

Pumba-- is it catracts that you have? Most people say what a difference after they have it. Maybe you should get it done before....I am with you about touching the eyes. I hate the drops they put in too.

I emailed Sandy today, and she has been working, and the 'puter at home is still on the fritz, and DH is having to use the good one for work.

She also has wedding planning stuff going on too. She is fine. Just thought I would report so no one would worry.

Oh, and I retrieved all the essential documents from the safe deposit box today, so that DS can get his license. Also had to go to the school and have them sign a document, and put that fancy seal on it, saying that he is a student there. Now all he has to do is pass. I told him I would pay for the test and the license (total of $28) IF he passed. If I have to take him back, he's payin'. I'm such a MEAN MOM. heehee
