lex - I was here lots yesterday! Hi!

big L - I wub yer puppy!

Stalker Report:

So my mother is with me in Cincinnati to do genealogy research at the library while I work. Yesterday she took a bus to the downtown area and had to walk two blocks to the library.
I left work a little after 3 and didn't call her before I headed to the hotel.
Silly me.
Once I walked Riley and got settled in to do my homework, I decided to call her.
She was having a bad day and not looking forward to the two block walk to the bus stop.
I could tell what she was saying was "COME GET ME!" so I asked if she needed me to come get her.
"If it's not too much trouble."
Harumph.
Of course not! Especially since you took the directions with you.
So me, with my keen sense of navigation, figure out how to get across the river into the downtown area.
And I find the library.
Cuz I'm good like that.
So we head back across the river.
Oops.
We get lost.
My mom knows the drill. Even though I have to remind her about one billion times.
See, she likes to have a running commentary going.
I DO NOT LIKE IT.
She knows to sit in the backseat and hush while I fume that she could get to the library by herself but couldn't get back by herself.
Anyway, after about 40 minutes, I manage to get to the hotel.
BUT! I found PEeeeeeej's school while I was at it!
It was in a bad part of town (I think ALL of cincinnati is a bad part of town) and it's a montessori school, so I told my mom "Quick! We need to take a picture! I bet that's PJ's school!"
"Why would he want a picture of a school?"
"It's her school!"
"He goes there? Who?"
"PJ! It's a she! She's a student teacher about to graduate!"
"Oh. The one with the paper that her computer ate."
"YES! HER! You're not a very good stalker."

So anyway, I'll PM the name of the school to PJ to see if it really was her school.
Cuz she goes there and all.

Marita: Glad you had a wonderful cruise. It sounded awesome.

Allie and DTD: Thanks for sharing your mini TR's.

Celery: I DID get my bacon cheeseburgers. Next time tell Riley to keep his tongue off my buns!

L: Awwwwww. I love MoJo. Such a cutie patootey. Is it picture day? I believe it is. Here's a pic of my Labs, since we're sharing.

Have a good day gang. Cya.

morning everyone..

Hope you are all doing good........I am not sure if I posted yesterday or not....but if I didnt ......HOWDY HI everyone.

Megara is sleeping in her sunbeam........my doggies always look around the living room to find the sunbeam and then lay in it.

Your puppy is so darn cute and the look is THAT look......arent I adorable look.....I love it..

I am going to lay low again today.......my back is killing me....all that cooking on Saturday and then going to the store to load up on soda for any party we happen to have in the near future......we like to say......come on over we are partying.......

gave away two bottles of champagne.......and still have one bottle of that and a large bottle of run....not opened of course........and also I forgot about the jug of kaluau that was good for one drink....hahaha......

we also bought (2 years ago) a large jug of vodka and put in six vanilla beans to make 100 proof vanilla......I like to cook and vanilla is expensive......so we do this......try it you may like it......

see you guys later

Wendy - So glad you made it home from your trip without the t-boning. That has almost happened to me 2 times. Once with a dump truck and once with a semi. At the same intersection. Thankfully I always hesitate and look before I go.

We yesterday we went to the beach. It was the worst beach day ever. We got a late start, our beach of choice had no parking, it took us 30 more minutes to get to the second on the list(SO much traffic, mostly stinking snow birds who shouldn't even be driving anymore), then we had to park hours away from the actual beach. There is only a small amount of sand there so everyone is crowded together. Which means even more people are staring at us all the time. THEN while I was getting the baby to sleep and someone(chad) wasn't watching the kids well a lady brought Kaleb to me from down the beach. First time EVER losing a child at the beach, thankfully he was returned before we knew he was missing. lol. Does that technically count as losing a child? ;) What a day. Traffic is so horrible. I can't wait till the vacationers and snowbirds leave.

I'll check back in later. I just ran over to my Mom's to claim our weeks for unemployment. My brother cooked me a couple eggs. Now I need to head back.

Chad's leaving for Ga next week. We decided it was best for our marriage if he go alone. Too much togetherness isn't so fun. ;)

Wendy: Are you going?

Sick girls up all night puking together. I guess the bright side is, only one night's sleep out the window instead of two.

Bonnie was here? Where? Yo! Bo! Where you at?

I"m back. I was rudely interrupted during my last post. I sent the kids out the door b/c we saw the bus coming down the road. (There's not much to block the view here in mamacantfindya)

ANYWAY, I got halfway through my post when the kids are banging on the door cuz that wasn't their bus. The bus was already running late so I KNEW it had to be theirs. However, their bus was nowhere to be found.:confused3 And since it was already late I drove them to school in my Victoria Secret's Pink Jammies and a pair of crocs. I feel the need to tell y'all that they were cotton and not silk jammies cuz driving your kids to school in silk jammies is plain crazy!

Here is the rest of my post:

Utah: So glad you are still with us and your kids aren't going to marry "carnies"

Lexi: I did read Nebo's installments but not all that banter amongst you TR people.

PJ: Poor little sick girl. As Pollyanna once said "At least you wont die from it" hee hee hee.

Nab: Do your kids go to the same school as Twinkies? They dont seem to go much in March. lol

Moo: Glad hubby had a nice bday. Your puppies in your signature are so cute. I dont think I mentioned that before, b/c I usually disable signatures with this stinkin' dial up.

MommyP: I dont think that counts as losing a child at all.;)

Pumba: Hope your back feels better.

Monica: Sorry about the sick girls.

Twinkie: sup?

 If I missed ya, I apologize profusely. I didn't mean to. :flower3:

Morning Moovers!

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Happy Day After St. Patricks Day! Did anybody have green beer? Corned beef and cabbage? I did! Only the beer wasn't green. And it was Mexican. Never mind.

Rob....Did you get to pay the orthopedist an extra $50 to tell you again that the finger was broken?
I had corned beef and cabbage for the first time in my life yesterday and had just the opposite reaction of what I thought I would: loved the corned beef, didn't care for the cabbage (yet I like salads with cabbage in them, sauerkrat, and lettuce). No beer but we had green-colored vanilla shakes, does that count?

We can't get into the orthopedist until Friday but here's an interesting twist: On our second visit to the urgent care clinic on Saturday, I was given instructions both verbally and in writing, that if Jeffrey's thumb is no longer swollen and seems to be functioning normally, that we could follow up with our primary care provider instead of the orthopedic clinic. Either way, a doctor's visit is recommended so we may just stick with the orthopedist. Last night, he was playing 4-on-4 basketball (in the rain) one-handed with mostly 10-year olds (Jeffrey is DS12) so his thumb must be feeling a bit better.

-- Rob

Did anyone get a Shamrock shake at MCDondald's yesterdee? I didn't either.

I don't have any current pictures of my Goldens. I have WAY cute puppy pics. But they're paper pics. and would need to be scanned and uploaded. Which is daunting and about 20 notches above of my expertise.

STUPID Girl Scout Cookies were delivered last night and I forgot to lock them in my DH's trunk...which is how I roll with the goodies. ;) Clarification: the Girl Scouts who delivered them were not stupid, the cookies are stupid because I can't just eat a "serving size" since I'm not a gerbil. and by DH's trunk, I didn't mean his swimsuit, nor is he an elephant. I meant the Corolla's trunk.

Lynette: Mojo is a fine looking puppy. I loved the camo background. Tee hee.
Pumba: Thanks for the vanilla recipe... where do you get the beans?
Celery and Lexy: You guys are great stalkers.
MP: That does not count as losing a child. I have lost children on several occassions (always the same child come to think of it :scratchin) so I know. But how scary! That is why I rarely go to the pool. I am hoping this year will be different.
PJ: Hi! Thought of you last night because I put on classical music and taught the girls a little ballet.

Well, as the BNCG pointed out, my kids are still on spring break. Can I send them to GA with Chad?

Princess Twink sends you all some smilies::lovestruc :scared1: :laundy: :cheer2: :dance3:

Thanks to everyone who commented on Mojo's pics.

BBN, 2 demerits for you for posting dog pics without telling us the dogs' names. Tsk, tsk.

Pumba, I've done that with vodka and vanilla beans too. Delish! And far cheaper than having to buy vanilla extract.

Two more days until Spring! :woohoo: :woohoo: This morning, Natasha asked me how long it would be until we open the pool.

Opening the pool....:scared1: I guess it is warmer there then here.

We are getting freezing rain as we speak.

Yes Hannah fell on the bar of the bike. They had there bikes out on the sidewalks because they are finally clear and the snow banks are shrinking a little, hoping the rain that is to follow the freezing stuff will wash it all away.

Mommy P--We I hear you on the snowbirds that should drive. Did they have wrap around sunglasses too that are bigger then there whole face because they have other glasses underneath?

No green beer for me either or green milk shakes. Did go to McDonald's and had a kids meal because Hannah wanted the Cinderella gloves they have out now and wasn't going to pay $1.99 + tax when I could get them with a meal cheaper.

Pumba -- we got 100% vanilla from one of the islands we were on but I am afraid to use it thinking it would be to strong in my recipe.

BBN, 2 demerits for you for posting dog pics without telling us the dogs' names. Tsk, tsk.

I laugh in the face of demerits. BWAHAHAHA!

I didn't know the names were so stinkin' important.

The black lab lying on the ground is: Cowgirl Molly Justice aka "Molly". She has a funky name, b/c the AKC likes it when you name them wIerd and unusual names and my kids couldn't decide.

Her husband, the yellow lab, is Elisabeth's Ranger LeDoux aka "Ranger". Everytime she lies down and sleeps, he always stands guard over her like that. (LeDoux is after the singer Chris LeDoux. cuz all cowboys/cowgirls love chris ledoux.)

Together they have had 33 puppies, but Molly is fixed now.

We also have a border collie that was forced upon us and was previously named. Her name is Xena.

We also have 3 barn cats. Would you like to know their names? We have Hunter, Simba, and Antonio Banderas. Our horses are named Gabby, Peppy, Chip, and Mocha. And the goats are Bronco, Spanky, and Wrangler. Julia has a hermit crab named Leia. HAPPY?!?! Sheesh.;)

Babynurse-- no bunnies? We have one in the back yard that leaves a trail I could send you if I could catch him. That is a lot of animals and a lot of names to come up with.

No bunnies. I'm afraid the dogs might enjoy them too much. :upsidedow

:thumbsup2 ...now that's was one great cruise report!,,,[ for all
those that plan every minute, every second....i still think .."take
it as it goes..is the best way. ] because of that, none of our
cruises..have ever been the same.

"type of people"...i think a good gauge...was the march first, magic
cruise..where hey didn't make it to castaway...and how ugly some
of the guests became...on our last cruise..., i sorta paid attention, of
those "wearing the green-disers"..& i gotta say..they're the most
friendliest.

one of my favorites.thing..was to "wander" & struck up conversations,
very intertesting....adventures.

holy commando!...ok...utahm~ ...if that sooo, how come when you turn
sideways..you disappear?? hemp, explain that! of course, if you find
yourself..in a bind...you could always..send the cookies..my way!

[keeping..in shape..isn't on my agenda! ]

terrible, ...trying to find something for ..wt, i came across a
tub..that i missed after the flood...that had stuff toys..soaking in
old water & molds! yuk! * the mishap..was over 2months ago.

oh...sorry for the poor..mispelling, and running the sentences
together.... , well..what can you expect..from someone
"old" & getting older every day? but i hope everyone got the gist of
"it"...when drug co. are trying to sell "herpies"...& the way doctors
are being influenced..by their perks..are bad s/s of a poor health
care system. where's the education to prevent the abuses?

experts? ....it dosn't matter.....the area...of work...,where do you
go..for the saleman or mechanic?....the same for health..care...
its' the people do the actual procedures/interventions ..that can
provide..the insights..what is needed to correct the problem...
be wharever, the causes? ....& there's something to those
explanations..making sense!...where's our basic problem solving
skills and therefore, the motivation....for "corrective measures?!"

keep smiling..those blues away! :woohoo:

technically..my lil'miss cutie..forebids..me from ever discussing..
our exchanges...[so that why it may seem like iam all "talk" &
no actions-:rolleyes1 ]...but i will sneak..in a lil' things...every
once awhile..nabby? bunnies..this morming..i left a cute lil'
flower bunny, with a lil'chocolate egg..for my lil' honey :bride: ,
..and like awlays..an observation note....

..." you're my lil'easter bunny, "!

Lil'g -- you know chocolate is always a way to your wife's heart. So sweet.

And yes you and me both are getting older by the minute....:rotfl2:

You never did give a true day on that....are you before or after my birthday?

Which way does the wind blow over there?

Well, you guys could keep Little John in your prayers. My sister took him to the Dr. yesterday because he is 5 weeks and his cord still hasn't fallen off. They sent her to a specialist today. His white count is low, which is why is cord hasn't come off. Of course a low white count could also be the big L word. Which no one is saying. I don't know why. They are testing him first for some off the wall rare things and they take him back on the 25th, for they don't know what reason. How do they test for leukemia? I guess it also could be as simple as his immune system just hasn't built up enough yet, but then why is it so rare to have a cord not come off? I would want to know right away if it was cancer or not, forget beating around the bush. Testing for everything else it could be. It's most often cancer. Please pray for him and my sister and her husband. Also that God would give me words to say to minister to her. I never know what to say, so I usually just back away. But I don't want to lose the relationship we've built. They will most likely have to surgically remove his cord as well.

Which way does the wind blow over there?

Dont worry, everything smells nice here in Sunnybrook. Duh.;) Plus we have no swine or bovine, and plenty of land for everything to roam. It's all good, just ask the stalker girl PJ. I can't keep her away from this place.

Oh my MommyP. If it is of any solace, Nathanael's cord didnt fall off forever. They had to use silver nitrate on it at his 2 month visit. I know the white count being low complicates matters, but I trust and pray that all is well.

prayers and pixie dust sent to little john and all of the extended mommyp clan.
