Narrator: In this episode, we find the stars of our show both embarrassed, but for different reasons. Why? One is forced to ride a "horse"-- of which both are embarrassed and one is mistaken for someone else... embarrassing!
After we had checked out the room and Moose was in better spirits now, we decided instead of going to a park for lunch- because we were already hungry- to go the Whispering Canyon down stairs.
We went and they sat us nearly immediately. We had eaten here before when we had come with his side of the family, but it was nice to come just the two of us.
We had on our anniversary buttons, so the waitress said "I guess you're going to want to sit together."

Here's our table...
Here's our view:
Neat medal lights:
Our drinks came in big Ball jars. And yes, it is Ball jars... they were made by the Ball brothers, who founded and started Ball State University- of which both my husband and I are alumni.
Anyway- we decided on an appetizer of chips and various dips.

dips: in the yellow cup: fresh salsa - this was my favorite- not hot, it was fresh because the onions and peppers were crunchy, not stewed beyond submission.
in the green cup: your usual nacho cheese dip
in the orange cup:venison chili (a little spicy for my taste-- but good)
When the waitress came to give us the chips & dip, she saw that Moose had drank all his soda, so she asked him if he wanted a refill, he said yes please.
She came back with this.

He wasn't even "super" thirsty-- just his normal thirsty.

For comparison purposes:

Although he was expecting it (because as I said we had been there before), the table behind us did not and they were all laughing... the waitress said "yer next ya varmints!" Of course everyone laughed.
The chef came out to meet someone and on his way to their table he YELLED "OH MY GOSH" and came running over to our table.
Apparently because he saw Moose's Green Bay hat (and probably his build)... he thought he was a player.
He came over and shook Michael's hand and the Chef told him he was a big far on the Packers... Michael said "Well thank you, so am I."
And the Chef asked him how long he had played for them... he and I looked at each other puzzled... and then I giggled.
Moose told him he didn't play for them he was just a fan.. and the Chef just kind of looked embarrassed and apologized for the confusion and went on to the table.
Our food came- Moose ordered the cheeseburger with an egg on it:
(Chuck Wagon Angus "Bacon and Egg" Burger - with Tillamook cheddar and Chipotle ketchup $17.49)

I got the fish & chips:
(Fried Fish and Country Chips - with a spicy tartar sauce and sweet potato fries $17.99)

Of Course we asked for ketchup... here, when you ask for Ketchup, they bring you enough so you won't run out... so... a TRAY FULL OF KETCHUP!
Then... they yelled out that it was time of the "rodeo". Because it's usually a kids thing... and there was only about 4 kids in the restaurant, the waitress came and got me and told me I had to participate or I wasn't gettin' any food!
Sorry it's fuzzy-- the waitress took it.

As you can see, several adults were recruited too.

We had to go all the way around the restaurant... and they were hooting and hollering the whole time....
What was my husband doing? Taking black mail video on his phone and sending it to his family. The waitress caught him:
When the waitress and I got back to the table, Moose had drank THE WHOLE JUG OF SODA!
The waitress acted p.o.'d... she said "It was a joke... you weren't actually supposed to drink all of it! Dang!"
So, he got a "fast pass to the bathroom".
While she was there, I asked her if I could have "a little refill" because I knew I couldn't drink a jug that big!
... she came back with this for me..

which is about half the size of a normal one... which turned out to be perfect for me!
After lunch, I went to the bathroom-- he didn't need to... what the heck?!
Then we decided to go to parts of the WL that we'd never been to.
Like, the little sitting area above the front entrance... here is the view from there:
There is also a door that leads to a balcony above the entrance outside... I didn't know that was there! We went out to check it out. Standing looking out toward the parking lot:

Turning around:
At this point it was about 2 p.m., so we decided to take the boat over to the MK for a little while.
On our way to the boat dock, I took these pictures. Don't worry I only took 180 more the next morning!
The quick service meal place:
The pool:
The boat dock:
If you're standing on the dock and you look to the far left, you'll see the monorail:
We didn't have to wait too long... The boat!
I'm at my picture limit, so I will end it here. Thanks for joining along and for all of your comments.
See ya real soon!
