I just booked a last minute trip for June and saw that there will be an event while we are there. Do people cancel for these? I saw that its sold out. Thanks!

Some people do cancel but there's no good mechanism in place to notify people when that happens. Visit the registration website periodically and maybe you'll get lucky.

Same boat...it booked instantly online. I got hosed as the system didn't recognize my ressie and by the time it went through it was booked. Waited for it to open to all DVC and I was in meeting got on 10 mins late and June was booked already. I'm not counting on getting in, we went the first time they had it and it was awesome, good luck because it is a great experience.
