I wasnt thinking haha. For some reason I thought when I became direct, all my memberships would qualify

It was our first MM. I hope they have that or something similar at the next one we go to. We spent a majority of the night there. My son loves to dance and loves characters so it was a win/win for him. We think they should do more character things like that, much more fun than just standing in line just waiting for a photo.

No, you would need the current minimum for membership extras at the time of purchase in each membership to qualify. For example, you have three memberships. Two with both you and your wife in separate UYs and one with just your wife. If you put the direct points in the membership with just your wife, only she would have direct benefits. Not you.

If you have multiple memberships that are each eligible for membership extras you can register more than once. Each membership is treated differently and the new registration system asks for the membership number when registering. I think the most difficult part would be ensuring you have a reservation on that specific membership number to qualify for the early registration period.

I got scared for a second reading this because I didnt even think about who was on what and I def want it to match my dec uy so I can have two on Feb uy and two on dec uy but thankfully we are both on Dec uy!

Does this mean that we will be able to use our points together for both dec uy without having to transfer if were both on each membership? That would be amazing or at least I could work with a double transfer but three memberships and one transfer is def a challenge.

Im also learning our patterns and we love the holidays especially would love grand cal for around Xmas every year, which sucks a lot of points.

The uy's actually worked really well for us considering the first contract I didn't really understand how significant the uy is and the second one, well we know the heart ruled the head

If I could change anything I would trade the February uy for april to cover halloween, walking, and still being able to bank, but its such a rare uy (does it even exist?) i believe that would have been a challenge to find two resales at a good price to match in the time frame we needed it to make inaugural trip happen

Im also considering the timing, the fact that the closer to December, i get the lower mf's. And the possibility of another summer blowout price next year I do think what @VGCgroupie suggested to possibly wait for LSL is a good idea because why not if its going to go on sale like a month or two after we were going to purchase, the last thing I want to think is why didnt we wait. I def have major fomo.

One thing ive learned is everything I think im going to like can be totally the opposite. And right now im not too excited about LSL themeing so ill probably love it I just asked my wife what her favorite resorts have been so far that weve stayed at many and she said animal kingdom is her #1, followed by baylake and then poly. That made me so happy that we made the right choices.

Yes, if you are both listed on your current resale Dec UY contract and purchase a direct Dec UY contract titled exactly the same way (your guide/QA will make it match) you can combine those points during the 7-month booking window.

Each contract within the membership holds it's home resort booking advantage. You would have multiple resorts listed under "my home resorts" when searching the calendar in the Dec UY membership and different contracts listed on the booking page and you select them in the order you want them used.

You wouldn't get ay additional waitlists or anything like that.

It's very easy within the same membership.

It When I have registered in the past, the names of my kids showed up when my trip was on my Aug UY and when on my Dec UY, only my DH and I.

They are different households too so I think that would allow us each to go if visiting different times during the same season.
