MM registration dates have been announced and I notice that registration for multiple events is on the same days. Has that ever been done before? Given how difficult registration has been in recent years it doesn’t seem like a great idea to have so many members trying to get in for different events at the same time. I’ll be at WDW in January, staying onsite so i can register for AK on 12/16. I almost panicked when I saw that registration for MM at DCA is on the same day, but I most likely won’t be staying on property for that one so I’ll try to register on 12/19.

Isn’t registration 10/2 for AK? I have a stay booked and haven’t received the invite email yet. Seems like they’re cutting it very close.

The 10/2 registration date is for the additional DAK dates added for 2025 (10/29, 11/18 & 12/15).
The 12/16 registration date is for the Winter Season event dates (DAK on 1/20/2026, Epcot on 2/12/2026 & DCA on 2/23/2026).

The OP said they will be at WDW in Jan 2026, so they would be registering for the Winter Season Event night.

Me thinking ... I only need 112 more direct pts to be blue card on both my memberships.
Ive already thought after I become direct, I can buy another cheap SSR, have 500 points there, and be part of comma club lol its worked as intended so far

But if they change the rules and I can only stay there, i lost this bet big time 😆

Yeah Im not the right person to have condone a ton of SSR points.

I don't think so. They check the membership number for valid stays for early booking (and you can have multiple memberships) but on the back end the system is also checking for the personal DVC-Y/Blue card, which I don't think you can get multiple of.
So if my wife is on one membership by herself and im on another one with her i wonder lol

I was wondering about this too. My kids are on my direct membership. If one of them bought their own direct membership and used it to enter an event, would that make me ineligible for a different event in same ‘season’?

It's possible, but since you aren't direct yet it would make more sense to buy 300 points all at once and not separate since the discounts are typically a lot higher on 300 pts vs 150.

It's possible I suppose. Would probably be more likely to work if both her solo and the joint membership were both eligible for membership extras. Otherwise the system may kick it back as ineligible if it can see that one of the members on the DVC-Y has already signed up for Moonlight Magic.

If they bought their own direct membership, then I think it would probably work out fine. Now if you have 4 different families all sharing one direct contract to get direct benefits and multiple Moonlight reservations, I think they might limit it
