Moonlight Magic Question

Hello!
We were fortunate to get 2 tickets for Hollywood Studios on September 13th. We have a 3rd family member now coming on the trip. I know you can't add a person after April 2nd and have them count. The general registration is coming up in August however. Can I add on the 3rd person during the general registration? I don't want to mess up the 2 original tickets I have already.

I was able to add 1 to my existing moonlight magic for AK in august. On the confirmation email you received there is a link that says “click here to modify or cancel your registration” it’s kind of toward the bottom of the email. I used that link and updated my party from 4 to 5 and it worked. I’m sure there are no guarantees and it probably wouldn’t let you massively increase your party size but if you just have 1 additional it’s worth a shot. Just be careful to make sure you are modifying and not canceling your registration. I hope this helps, good luck

Not the link in the announcement email that you used to sign up, but there is a link in the confirmation email after you signed up. The one that confirms your reservation.

Maybe mine was just a fluke then? Or maybe there are still a few random spots at AK and HS is completely at capacity? I’m not really sure.

It's been my experience (YMMV) that if you show up with one extra person they'll be let in.

I once had an extra reservation, and arranged to meet some Board member, who needed one more, at the entrance. At the pre-arranged meeting time, he texted me to let me know they let his extra person in with his group. The do have some discretion about letting extra people in. I wouldn't show up with nine extra people, however.

If you aren't able to secure an additional ticket I would post on these boards asking if someone has an extra (someone will have to meet their party and enter with their party) and if that doesn't work, then hopefully you can try a +1 at the gate.
