Hey all! New member and first post. We became DVC members in September and are now learning the ropes so to speak.
We are staying at the Riviera Resort during the Feb 12th Moonlight Magic Hours at AK. I got the email link for early registration and went to register but was not aware that I needed my member number to enter the queue and also was unaware I could access the site to set it up prior to 11am. (For the Oogie Boogie Bash tickets at DCA you couldn't even access the queue until it went live at 8am and I assumed this was the same) By the time I got my member number entered and in the queue it was approximately 11:03am. I was in queue for 1 hour and 15 mins with an estimated 15 mins to go when it updated stating that the tickets were no longer available.
Can I try to get access when the general registration goes live with slimmer chances when it goes live tomorrow?
Any other tips to take advantage of member benefits and not miss out?
I'm learning that there are many ways to play the system that we're just not familiar with yet. For our trips next year I logged in right at 8am and all tower studios were already gone. I've been told people use the 7 day window and then basically leap frog the reservation forward each day to the dates they actually want?
