Moonlight Magic - leave and come back?

First time will be onsite for a moonlight magic event, of course the only night we could get CA Grill res for dinner is same night as this event. Question then is, can you check in at 6 pm, leave and then come back without checking in again? Grandma is the DVC holder and was hoping she could walk in with everyone at 6 for checkin but then not come back with everyone after dinner.
Otherwise guess Grandma will have to come to check in at 10 and then she’d leave right away cause she’ll want to go to bed.

Once you have your event wristbands, you don't need to "check in" again.

So since you had your wristbands , you just walked in to moonlight magic? Want to make sure if the blue card member isn’t there when go back in the evening (she will go for checkin earlier) there won’t be any issue.

We only had to show our wristbands on the way back in after the race.
