It’s so nice to see one more piece of the puzzle back. Doesn’t work for our dates but no complaining from me, I’m excited for everyone who can go!
That’s the truth.I’m assuming everyone else had the same thought as me to check DVC availability for some of those dates, because the website isn’t loading anything for me
Right now Epcot shows it is closing at 9. I’m not sure how much extra time the Scavenger Hunt part of it will add - I’m hoping I will take no more than an hour, but I also don’t want to sell that experience short either…Yeah. I’m waiting for the times to be released for the event. I already know the 5k starts at 10pm but I’m figuring it may take more than an hour with the scavenger hunt.
Once per membership per event. So theoretically, you could go to an event at each park, but only once. You cannot book multiple nights at the same park.We will be registering for the first Epcot night in March. Do they restrict these to 1 per membership. the June HS night is 2 days before our june trip.
Have to say its such a waste honestly as its of little benefit to the majority of ownership.

Ya think? I find it more than coincidental that this announcement comes just before VGF2 goes on sale. With no APs, TiW or other major incentives to influence potential customers, it's not surprising that DVD trots this out right now.It will be great marketing tool that they have the new dates available
Exactly. Disney Vacation Development pays for these events, so they restrict attendance to their customers, who bought the necessary number of points directly from them. It's not a "DVC member" perk, it's a perk for "customers of DVD."True, but my understanding is that 'we' aren't paying for it, in that dues don't pay for this. If dues paid for it, they could not restrict to blue cards.
Two kids, your 2 parents and the 2 of you makes for 6 people. Are you all on the same reservation? If yes, then all 6 of you can be registered for the event. If the parental units are staying on a cash reservation or offsite, then you would not be able to include them because the limit is 4 people, with an exception being made if more than 4 are booked on the same reservation. So if my husband and I are members and staying with our two kids and two parents we can all go? I was reading up to 4 guests? Never done one before and this actually lines up for us. Very excited to see this perk back!
Woo hoo! Can't go, but still a positive thing.
No MK though.
EPCOT: 3/17, 3/31
Hollywood Studios: 5/24, 6/16, 7/14
Animal Kingdom: 7/26, 8/31, (9/28?)
hmmm, that's weird. the email includes sept 28, but the webpage does not.
I mean it's pretty much the only piece back, so this is still a sad looking Blue Card puzzle. I think the Epcot lounge is open?
Blue Card could bring perks while staying cheap by adding more perks that cost them nothing or even make them money, like the Xmas party fireworks viewing area or merch or a special drink or pins or something. The D23 merch looks like it was actually made by someone who has worn Disney merch.
