Moonlight Magic at AK....what is it?

I'm about 20 miles behind all of you, in terms of being "in the know".

Can someone tell me....what the heck is it, and what makes it magic? Do they simply open the park for DVC members only? Is it similar to Magic Hours?

I've been a member for a long time, and I can't tell you the last time I received emails about any of these special events. And DVC definitely has the correct email address so I'm assuming I'll get more (and better) info from these boards than I will from Disney. Thanks.

It's an after hours event exclusively for DVC Members that have registered for the event.
