Moonlight Magic and WaitList Question

We currently have a booked reservation at OKW with two waitlists. We are going to try to MM next week for Epcot. IF we get MM tickets and then our wait list comes through, will our MM tickets be canceled because we switched to a waitlisted resort?

I have the same issue i called member service today and they told me it would cancel moonlight ticket so i canceled my wait list. if what Sandisw@ say is true i pretty mad right now

I have never gotten a new reservation number when My WL fills. I know this because I just had one fill a few weeks back and it was linked to my MDE with first resort and once the wait list filled, my MDE account showed the new resort. Only thing I had to do is redo online check in.

So, if the reservation stays the same, there should be no canceling not tickets.

I have changed resorts twice since I got my MM reservation, and I did NOT lose my MM.

Yikes! Did you modify or cancel and rebook? I’m asking because I have a BCV 1BR booked for one of the EP MM nights, but I have a standard BWV 2BR wait listed for that night and the following night. I’m going to cancel my wait list if I’d lose the MM reservation.

Once I modified and the 2nd time my waitlist was filled and replaced my other.

Darn it. I’ll cancel my WL then. Were they at least able to rebook you some tickets or did you pick them up during general registration?

Thanks for asking this. I'm in the same situation however not until the Sept MM. I guess I"ll cancel my waitlist before sign ups happen.

Oh my, I just noticed I missed a very important word in my first post. I did NOT lose my MM. So sorry!!!!

UGH! I cancelled my WL. I don’t know that it would’ve come in anyway (a standard 2BR at BWV over one of the MM nights at EP). Oh well.

Put it back, my waitlist was for a Standard studio at BWV over a MM and I was shocked it came through about 7 weeks before the trip, and less than a month after activating the WL.
