So where are you guys..I know there are some

I have some audio on my IPd and I'm listening to the Dead Parrot Sketch...John Cleese is actually laughing while he doing it.
My DD hates it ,which is just a boun.

Woo hoo! That is one the funniest sketches ever!

Python is the best for a great belly laugh at our house.

I LOVE Monty Python! I once spent an entire day with my coworkers quoting the movies and some of the sketches from the show.

And I rock at doing Silly Walks.

This is an EX parrot! Yep, love 'em. Saw Spamalot in November and laughed myself silly. I've been a fan since I was in jr. high--I grew up watching it with my dad!

It's just a flesh wound, I've had worse - You liar!

Bring out your dead, Bring out your dead!

What is your favorite color? Blue...no red - Aaaarrrgggh!

One of my altime favorite MP skits is the Twit Olympics. That thing has me in tears when I watch it.
Jumping over a 2 inch high pole.
Trying to shoot a rabbit that is tied down spread eagle (one of the twits shoots himself instead)
Slamming the car door to wake the neighbor

Not a big fan....but in my show coming up we have some monty python sketches.

My friends and I are planning to dress up as the cast from Holy Grail for Halloween

Im either the man eating bunny (Id get to chase everybody else around all day!!!) or the "witch"

skits will be going on during classes in the pods!!

Love Monty Python! Luckily, so does my DH. DD thinks we're a bit weird but she's been known to laugh along at times. You know, when she thinks we're not paying attention to her. ;)

I like to tease DH--He's British and whenever he's mimicking me, he sounds like the Pythons when their characters are women. I keep telling him that I hope he doesn't REALLY think I sound like that!

I really love Fawlty Towers, too. John Cleese is a genius.

Is that the one with the incotinent's footrace?

My family is full of MP fans. We have tickets for Spamalot. Unfortunately some of us can't go because my ds has his all county band concert the same night. All it takes is one person to say something like "bring out your dead" or
what the curtain" and it goes downhill from there.

One of my favorites was in Meaning of Life when Death came for a visit at a dinner party. Hilarious! Or the rousing "Every Sperm is Sacred" musical number.

"Pick that up for me, would you dearie?"

To be honest I'm not sure. It's been many years since I last saw that skit, and unfortunatley I can't remember all of it. It is kind of a long skit, so it could very well be, though.

Actually,I think that was the Silly Olympis skit....They kept running off the course into a bushes to go to the bathroom..
They also had the Queen Victoria handicap where a bunch of Queen Victorias are jumping over hurdles.

Not usually, only because my DS is SUCH a fan. But we saw Spamalot in November and I just loved it. We have the soundtrack and still laugh, especially at "the song that goes like this...."

I think I'd still count myself as a fan. DS got DW a set of DVD's for Christmas of the Flying Circus show. What we noticed here 30+ years later was that there was a lot of really bad stuff in between the really good stuff. Some that couldn't possibly have been funny to anybody that wasn't stoned at the time.

he's singing with the choir invisible!

thou shalt not count to four, nor shalt thou count to five, three is the number which thou shalt count.

thou shalt lobbest thy Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine enemies...

Always look on the bright side of life.....

Tune into the BBC on line and you can hear re-runs of the late 60's era radio show that he was a part of (other Pythons too at times) called, "I'm Sorry, I'll read that again". Kind of a radio-only version of the Python approach.

Another Python fan here...have been since HS when it was considered 'cool' by the really weird kids (i.e...anybody in choir, band or theatre) to like Python.

I have a whole bunch of Python stuff saved on my computer that I need to burn to CD so I can listen to it in the car. :)

Never be rude to an Arab...

For some reason I like the skit that starts "This man is about to die" from "the Meaning of Life". Can't really say why :lmao: :rotfl2:
