You might want to talk to a vet about that. Cat's usually only do that when there is a problem, and they're trying to let you know.

Cat has been at vet. Even had surgery so that he would be able to pass crystals. Unfortunately it is related to stress. My parents want me to put him down and i am just trying to find an alternate solution.

Petsmart has doggy diapers that can fit a cat. My mom used them when our dog was getting old and peeing everywhere.

Buy a small size diaper and you can choose to buy the refill liners or you can just use inexpensive maxi pads instead.

We have a cat who did this. We put a litter pan on several floors, put food on all the floors, changed to Cat Attract litter (in the red bag) and where he was peeing a lot put down aluminum foil as cat's hate that. Eventually we were able to change to the blue bag of Cat Attract which is a lot cheaper and stop putting food on all the floors (but we still have litter pans on 2 of the floors). This has now worked for 4 years and no drugs given to the cat, no diapers nor did we put him down. Good luck. It took us a while to get it all right but in the long run it has been worth it.
