Monthly Dues Question

It's possible that either my memory or my web skills are wonky this morning...but did DVD turn off the option to (a) enroll in auto pay but then (b) pay your monthly dues early by Disney/Target gift card? Or does that option only appear closer to the dues deadline?

If you have monthly autopay turned on you will not get the option to pay with gift cards.

So my take--in terms of financial advantage--pay in cash monthly for the first six months and then use the 5% Disney/Target discount to pay the remaining balance in full around June, as the 5% at that point and following is likely better than anything that investments might do with the same money. Am I missing anything?

I think that is what some will be doing to still get some benefit of using discounted gift cards.
