DH - hasn't been to Disney in 20 years!
me - certified Disney fanatic!
DS (6) and DD (3) - 1st trip to Disney!
DAY 4 - EE MGM
Woke up, did same routine, washed up and we all had breakfast in the room. The bus got to MGM after it opened already. It was MOBBED !! oh, and HOT!!! We realized it was crowded for two reasons, it was a Saturday and also, they were taping some stuff for the Wayne Brady show. Well, we made the best of it.
We ran over to ToT. DH and DS both rode it. I was kind of nervous for DS, should he go on it?
But, when they got off... he was so happy and excited! He said it was awesome! DH then ran over to grab a fast pass for RnRC, but it turned out that there was only a 10 min wait in stand-by. So, we waited. He said that was great too... better than Space Mountain!
It was then time to get in line for Playhouse Disney. We waited 45 minutes and got front row. I didn't know that we had to sit on the floor, good thing we had front row, more leg room! The kids had a ball... they were dancing around and singing. After Playhouse Disney, we had enough time to do Millionaire. I got in the top 10 once...
! It was cute, but DD was getting really fidgety. After that, we ran over to Sci-Fi for our PS at 12:00. Got seated at 12:30, it was packed ! The service was great. The movies shown were cheesy... but good! But, my DD and DS went nuts when they saw Tom and Jerry on the big screen! They love T & J!!! DH and I had awesome burgers, kids had Hot Dogs. We took our time eating and enjoyed the scenery.
Then, we went to line up for Beauty and the Beast. We were the 2nd group waiting. Before we knew it, there were about 100 people waiting! OMG!
Was it worth it? It was so hot and kids were getting really cranky? Time to race to your seats! We got center, 4th row, great seats! Warm up show was great (4 for a Dollar), time for B & the B!! The show was great! I've gone to the Broadway show 3 times, and this was pretty good! The kids loved it! But, after the show I looked at DH and told him, "I'm out of gas!"... So, was he! We took the bus back to WL. We napped for an hour or so. Cleaned up and took boat to MK. We had PS for Tony's. I thought the food was horrible. The service was great. But, I had eggplant rolletine that was with practically raw eggplant and the cheese inside was cold! The best part was the salad. After dinner, we decided to line up for Spectromagic. We waited 1 hour for it. Had to entertain the kids by buying 6 dollar balloons and then they wanted those light up spinny things... thank goodness I had packed theirs from home! Mom thinks ahead, sometimes!
Parade time! DD was scared of it. DS liked it. DH was cranky.. I guess he didn't sleep enough. I must be pushing them too hard! Tomorrow we have to rest! After parade, we took a filled boat back to WL... kids fell asleep right away.. as well as Mom and Dad!
