I just found out that our favorite restaraunt in DL will be closed while we're there- the Blue Bayou! Can we get the Monte Cristo somewhere else? Thanks!

Yup! You can get the exact same sandwich at Cafe Orleans (also a table service restaurant) and it's actually cheaper!

Yup, at CO as sonnyjane said. It is the same sandwich, it is cheaper but there are NO sides. That's OK with us tho, we just some yummy Pomme Frites to share before we get the sandwich.

I just shared the sandwich last night with my 8 year old at cafe Orleans and it came with strawberries and grapes!

We ordered two Monte Cristos, two orders of Pomme Frittes, and an order of Bignets to split between four of us on Wednseday at The Cafe Orleans and it was the perfect amount.

*tip: don't ask them to split the order on the Monte Cristo (they'll charge you for it). Just ask for an extra plate.
