I have never been to DLR but have been posting on DLR forums for awhile in anticipation of our trip in Late June. I am not sure I have ever seen anything about this ride on here, is the ride any good?
We happen to love this ride...I think it's so cute and I love the details that are found throughout the ride. For our family, it's a must-do ride. The lines aren't very long either, I don't think we've ever waited more then 20 minutes and even if you do have to wait a bit, the queue is fun to check out as well. Hope this helps!
We like it. It's a dark ride, similar to the rides in FL, so it's not a big headliner but it has a lot of details that are fun like the notices posted on the walls for the monsters, the smell of ginger as you enter the restaurant, etc.
One of my favorite dark rides in either park! I love the detail and theming. I would make a point of seeing it. It doesn't get much love since it is tucked in the corner, but I really enjoy it.
I think this is one of the best dark rides Disney has. It's a kid ride based on a kid movie. Something that could be found in Fantasyland that is in DCA to serve the same purpose as Peter Pan or Mr. Toad. Certainly a fun movie to ride through.
The line is usually short for this as it is tucked away. My kids and I love the ride, and for summer visits...the air conditioning is awesome. It is a great "middle of the afternoon, need a break from the heat" ride.

My family loves this ride and there is hardly ever a line. A definite do. While over there, you should check out the old arcade next door. I can't remember the name, but it is filled with games from the 80's and early 90's. Also, when riding Monsters Inc. make sure to smell the ginger smell when you go through the sushi restaurant. This always makes me want some rolls.
This is an easy to miss ride if you aren't looking for it. Our family didn't get on this ride until our 3rd visit to DLR. We were directed to this attraction to kill time when waiting for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I personally didn't find the ride that interesting but when I asked the kids what their favorite ride was during the whole trip, they said it was Monsters Inc!!
