monsters inc. characters?

Hi. My son has a new obsession with monsters inc. Has anyone ever seen the characters at WDW? We are going in late sept. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks, Trae

When we were there back in April we saw Mike and Sully at MGM Studios right next to ABC Commissary. There was a sign saying Monsters Inc. I don't remember exactly what section of the park. You'll have to check a park map.

Mike and Sully are the two characters from the movie that make appearances at Disney World. They meet in a specific location at MGM - a garage door across from the entrance to the ABC Comissary restaurant. They do meets often, and hopefully there will be a sign there telling what times they will be appearing. Mike is so small and Sully is HUGE!!!!! Mike has very limited movement, but still fun to meet!

My son is also CRAZY about this movie!! We will be looking for the characters too. I have been warned that Sully is so huge, he could scare my 4 year old, so I am going to prepare him for that before we go. They (apparently) are in the parade at MGM as well. We will be there in September too

Also, they don't sign. My dd was 2 and Sully is one of her favorites. She was note shared of any character until she saw Sully. I had the carry her up to him. She took a picture but they don't look to great. She has this concerned look on her face.

Sully is so huge that when he hugged DS for a picture, all you can see of DS is his sandals

DD(4) likes Monsters Inc and enjoys saying Mike Wazowski over and over again. When she was younger many told us she looked like Boo, too bad there isn't a character for her to greet.

Thanks for the heads up!! I wanted to meet them last time and forgot to look for the area!!!
I remember looking up all the character spots before our last trip. I have to make sure to look for the comissary.
