Why is this closed and how long has it been closed? We were at Universal in 2008 and this past week and it's been closed both times for renovation.

Any insight?

I can only tell you it's open seasonally now. I've only seen the place open during Mardi Gras and HHN.

Thanks for the info. Seems like there are very few places to eat at Universal and this would be a great themed cafe.

What about the one over on the other side? The name escapes me, but it's right across from the Makeup Horror Show. Again, looks like another neat place to eat.

Cafe La Bamba is the name.

It's apparently been closed for a few years now, according to one of the emplyoees that I asked. It seemed like not too long ago I was walking in there with my Dad, but I guess it has been years.

I believe it's now used as storage.
