It says on the US website that it's currently closed, but has anyone here heard if it's going to be reopened for the start of HHN next week...during the day though. This is THE ONE place I really look foward to eating at when I first arrive at US, and I know it is not one of the Meal Deal restaurants. I want to know so that if it's still closed I could just go with the Meal Deal instead. :thanks:

I'd like to hear the answer to that question as well ... Monster's is my hubby's most favorite restaurant at the Studios and he'd be heartbroken if he would not be able to eat there during HHN.

I love the props and memerbilla they had there, plus the rottis chicken was realy good.I like to know also..:confused3

I am going back to Universal next week (was just there yesterday to kill a few hours D: ) and Ill ask. Last time I heard, and it may have changed, was that Monsters was only used for special events. I thought that included HHN.

I'll report back this afternoon. I'm mainly going to get my HHN FF pass today and take some pictures of the props that might be lying around.

OK...So I asked five TM's including Guest Services and the only thing they could tell me about Monsters Cafe opening for HHN was maybe. They said it had been open during the larger events and since there were going to be two scarezones in the immediate area it was a good chance. This is the sign that was posted out front:
