Monsters after dark... how is genie+ working?

Here is a screen shot of my phone from home this morning at 10am. I wasn't paying attention before.

Is it that guardians is out and they will open genie+ back up for monsters? Or is it gone already for the day?

Sent chat request to CM via the app. They said 3pm.
I then said, so when the attraction opens at 3pm and they said maybe before.

Odd they wouldn't know the exact time.

I am going to track it today.. if someone is in the parks and could report that would be more helpful.

730 am Disney time. It being two separate rides in the system makes me think you could do both in a single day with genie+

930am disneyland time. I *think genie+ for mission breakout ran out once it got to 1-2pm.. but I'm not 100% sure.

Monsters genie+ Opened up at noon. And you can see that for mission breakout someone must have canceled or they opened more up..

Final update that by 3:45 disneyland time, monsters Genie + is gone.

I would love someone in parks to confirm, but I feel that with it being two separate rides in the app that you could ride both in the same day. After watching today my preliminary strategy would be to book guardians as one of our first genie+ at DCA and then plan to book monsters genie+ between noon and 2pm for an evening time slot..

We are in the parks today. We got a regular GOTG LL for return at 11:15. We were able to get a second LL for GOTG Monsters After Dark at 6 pm. So you can get 2 LLs for it. Not exactly sure when times switch from one ride to the other.

Has anyone there gotten one of those passes from ride breakdowns while MAD has been open and were they valid on MAD? Like in the past if Monsters Inc or something broke down and I had a LL for it I’d be able to use it on a number of rides including Guardians but I’m wondering if that applies to MAD

Checking now at 12:48 PT and there are LL for GG: Monsters After Dark, 6:05 return time. I think we will plan to get LL for Guardians first on our DCA start day, they go fast!

Yeah considering that “regular” Guardians is only open until 2, it’s gotta be probably the biggest priority at the beginning of the day. Especially if you’re starting at DL and park hopping because that 1-2 return time is basically the only time you can get since you can’t park hop until 1
