I booked it! I booked at the Port Orleans for Dec 12th - 18th. I saved 500 bucks with the code! So excited!
We are renewing our Wedding vows for our 10th anniversary while we are there. I can't wait. My daughter (who was 5 at the time) was looking at our wedding pictures and asked where she was. I told her that she wasn't born yet and she was so upset that she cried! lol She was so upset that we didnt wait to get married so that she could be there. It was so funny and sweet. She told me she wanted to be my flower girl. Too cute!

It's a good one. I can't remember when 40% was offered for value resorts. It's a good deal accross the board. I do like this offering being available almost for any accomodations.

I believe this is a sign that other good deals will come including public offers. This is an early indicator that the fall and winter is not booking to Disney's expectations.

For those of you who applied this new PIN to an existing reservation, did you get a new confirmation emailed to you? The CM who helped me said I'd get one within an hour or two but I got home this evening and still nothing. The updated info shows when I log into the WDW site so I know she made the changes -- just wondering if others got a new confirm. Thanks!

Hi! About 2 weeks ago (I think) we too got this awesome PIN-we are taking advantage of the 40% and staying at POR for the first time. I had to tweak our plans by 1 day to really maximize it, so no big deal-saved us $600.

We were sent an updated itenerary with the new price and the discount code on it. For us the math works out that we would save another $400 if free dining was offered (but I'm not complaining mind you-very happy with this offer). I too was flabbergasted that we were able to get 40% off a mod. About a week later I booked another room for my sister with the discount so she could join us.

This was a huge $$$ saver for us, I couldn't be happier-good luck to all of you planning with this great discount!

I am TOTALLY STOKED! I got this email and we planned to go on one of these weeks. I am giddy. BUT-----how does it compare to free dining?? which is a better deal???

Free dining was a better deal for us. We have booked the Coronado Springs. Even with the 40% off, free dining is better.

Could it be because Veteran's Day is that week? I'm not so sure though, because in 2008 I got a great code for the second week of November.

Got the Monster Savings code yesterday! Tried to use it today on my existing reservation 1BR Villa at Bay Lake Towers but was told I couldn't...I could only use it on a deluxe studio (there are 4 adults in our party so we want the 1BR). Have to wait to see if someone cancels a reservation on a 1BR villa before I can use my 40% discount. Does this sound right?? I doesn't sound like anyone else is having trouble using their discount. Should I call back and speak to a different CM?

Went out to get the mail on the way to wash the car. Upon returning home, I thought DW had received a DVC purchase offer. When I reviewed it more closely, it was the Monster code, via snail mail. This just might push us over the edge, into returning to WDW again this fall.

Anybody know what to put into email (Outlook), to make sure all Disney emails come through? Other than the address book, isn't there a "trusted senders" section?

Yes, I know because my daughter received the same code but it came to my email address. The CM told me I couldn't use it unless she was going with us. She's not so we couldn't use it. I hope we get some type of code soon.

I think you can only book two rooms if everyone lives in the same house. I tried to book two rooms, one for us and one for my mom & sister and I couldn't. Luckily, my mom got the same email so I used her pin. Good luck!

I got that one too. Would like the free dining though. Going at ther end of October. So hope they extend it!!!!!!!
