Ugh, I had Toralie (sp) and Abbey in my cart but when I went to check out I got the "oops there is a problem with your order, and Toralie went OOS. At least I got my God dd Abbey. I think I'm done searching.

Abbey and Toralei are so expensive on Amazon! I have seen better prices on ebay.

Keep haunting Justice - that's where I found them, along with Spectra. The people that work there are really helpful - you can call and they will check for you to see if they have them.

Abbey and Toralei have both been on and off Amazon all evening, at regular price. Earlier I got two Abbeys, and then two Toraleis, for my DD and my niece. Then they went out of stock again. Later I was able to get one Abbey for a friend (on her account), and then one Toralei for her. I just had to keep refreshing and keep checking back.

I agree with the Amazon prices. No way I'd pay that for them, Spectra wasn't as bad but she must not be as popular as the other 2.

I refuse to buy from Ebay sellers, even if the dolls were close to regular retail price. At least, I would refuse to buy from the ones who have a dozen+ listed at a time, because they are the ones making the dolls so darn hard to find in the first place.

My SIL and I agreed from the beginning, when we started this crazy doll search, that we would not pay more than $25 each for the dolls. She was ready to come over and hug me when I told her that I got them for $18 and $20 each -- and with Amazon, no tax and free shipping!

If I hadn't found them at a reasonable price, our girls would have just had to wait until January to get them (they'll probably be available everywhere then).

Now I get why everyone is jumping on Amazon! I didn't realize that they would come up at the regular price sometimes. That makes more sense. Love Amazon - no shipping & no tax

THANK YOU!! for the posters that suggested Amazon. I didn't know that they would come in stock at regular price either. Everytime I checked they were $60+. But because of the info I got on here, I was able to get my DD a Toralei this morining for $20.
I had already given up on here and told DD she would probably have to wait until all the Holiday madness settled down to get her. She will be so surprised. When she opens her, Abbey, and Spectra on Christmas morning. I will officially win the Mom of the year status, at least for a little while.

Thanks for the heads up on Toralei. I had grabbed Abbey and Spectra yesterday. Need a new power cord for the laptop so I'd put it in my cart at Amazon and figured I'd find something to add to get it over $25 to get free shipping.... and there was Toralei. That works.
