We are having my son's bday at monster golf. We decided to do the 10am slot on a saturday morning which means we have the whole place to ourselves. We are also not limited to any numbers, we have unlimited.
We are able to bring all our own food in. DS said he wanted monster themed food. He mentioned dirt dessert with monsters instead of worms. Or mummys with tombstones.
DS was invited and attended a party there in the past where they did muffins, juice and coffee for adults. They had other foods but DH took him and can't remember what! The golf place suggested either doing brunch like that or pizza.
I'm not sure muffins is appealing to kids at that time of day. I'm thinking they want to golf and then eat, not eat and then golf. But my kids are weird, they are up at the crack of dawn on weekends and never sleep in, so by 10 they are way over breakfast.
I am thinking a monster theme buffet would be fun but i'm very uncreative and need suggestions! His bday is mid nov so i can get sale halloween stuff to use. I'm thinking the dirt dessert is fun, anything else? Maybe some type of cupcake birthday cake with each getting a halloween ghoul?
I do want to keep the budget low on the food since we are paying the higher price for the rental. Also, any ideas on gift bags?
