Monsieur Paul's or Le Cellier?

Well I have not done Monsieur Paul, but if I never spend any money again in LeCellier that's fine. the ONLY thing signature about that place is the pricing.

I gave it two tries... food was not that good either time, steak was poor quality and just not that good, service ranged from non existent to "you have 20 minutes to eat so let me delivery your appetizer, entrée and check at once and then stand there glaring at you for eating slow" , and you are sitting on top of your fellow guests crammed in there like sardines (and it's not like I am a huge person)

Biggest ripoff in dining every IMHO

Le Cellier for us. I can't say we've ever had a bad meal there. The worst thing I can say about it is it's hard to get an ADR although we have had some "slowish" service but nothing terrible. I'd still prefer Shula's or the Yachtsman since both are easy to get to with a short boat ride and the launch is very close to both of your picks.

Monsieur Paul for us. We will never return to LeCellier. Just a really overpriced Outback with worse service and tables named in so close that you almost have to join in the conversation at the neighboring tables.

M. Paul for us. Better atmosphere and service, and we really like the food. If I want steak, I'd rather go to Yachtsman's or Shulas. Our steaks at la Cellier have been fine, but I hate the noise and crowding there.

That is an easy choice for me; I would pick Monsieur Paul every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Come to think of it I would also pick Coral Reef, Biergarten, Tokyo Dining, Teppan Edo, Chefs de France and San Angel Inn over LC. Le Cellier to me is nothing more than an average at best steakhouse that fails to live up to being a signature restaurant. The risotto tasted like Minute Rice; the mushroom sauce on the filet was like it was poured out of a Campbell's Soup can with a large dose of salt added to it. And the steak? Very average at best. The dining room is very cramped with table stacked upon table and I was not impressed with the service either. I wanted to like LeCellier and left so disappointed and vowed to never return again.

Monsieur Paul, the two times I've been there had excellent service and the food exceeded my expectations. Where Le Cellier used to get euphoric and raving reviews I allowed the mixed reviews of Monsieur Paul keep me away for a few years. While Monsieur Paul is not one of my top 5 restaurants at WDW, it certainly is one I've enjoyed and will not hesitate to return again in the near future.

We love Le Cellier. Never had a bad meal and even years later its the meal that gets remembered.

I've eaten at both multiple times and would choose Monsieur Paul. The food and service is superior and the atmosphere is really lovely. MP is a special experience. When you walk in, you are escorted upstairs to a beautiful, quiet dining room overlooking the France area of WS. Fresh, homemade bread, great food, super experienced wait staff. Le Cellier is good, but it's louder, more chaotic and the tables are very close together.
