Monorail ?

Can anyone tell me approximately how many minutes there are between resorts, using the Monorail system? Also, does it run clockwise, or counter-clockwise? I'm trying to figure out what time I need to be at the Poly to catch the monorail to CR for 7:40 Chef Mickey PS. Thanks!

The resort loop is 12 minutes long. It runs, MK, CR, Poly, GF.

Don't forget to add in "waiting time" on the platform.

If memory serves me right, they run clockwise between the resorts, so you will hit each stop on the monorail loop. You'll need at least 10-15 minutes, but allow 25 or so, in case you reach the monorail platform just as it pulls away.

Don't forget: monorails start running at 7 am.

Depending on the driver, and things going on, it's on average an 18 minute cycle. I'd recommend being at the Polynesian station at 7:15 to get to Chef Mickey's at 7:40.

One more question, just out of curiousity, is there only one monorail each per track that continuously makes the rounds, or are there more?

Express and Resort beams usually run with 3 trains. During peak times, a 4th may be added.

Epcot runs with 2 in the morning, and up to 3 during peak times. During extreme peak times, a 4th will be added.
