Hello!

I'm finding conflicting information about when the monorail is actually going to be out of service.

Some have called and were told the closure has been pushed back another week from May 15th to May 22nd. There are news articles stating that May 15th was just a placeholder date. However, the official website and most of the tourist sites state May 15th as the closure date.

So, does anyone know when it is officially going to be out of service? We'll be there May 16th & 17th for the first time and I'm really hoping to see it!

I think this has to do with some of the shifting eastern gateway plans so I'd say who knows. They're getting pushback from the city on their current plan.

It's really frustrating, isn't it? We're going to be at DL at the end of May/early June and I would love to ride the monorail when we are there.

According to the Anaheim Planning Commission's website (http://www.anaheim.net/2229/Planning-Commission), their next meeting is Monday 5/15.
