Can anyone use the monorail from DLH or just guests? We are going to Rainforst Cafe for supper and I was thinking of taking the monorail back if possible. If anyone can take it, where do you get on at hotel and where does it let you off in park? Thanks.

It's a ride at DL, so if you pay for park admission you can use it. The DTD Monorail station is actually adjacent to the Rainforest Cafe - you can't miss it. It drops you off in Tomorrowland above the Nemo Submarine queue.

The Monorail tracks literally run right next to RFC and the Downtown Disney station is adjacent to RFC. As stated by jlmarr, the Monorail is a Disneyland attraction so as long as you have admission to DL for the day you can ride it from Tomorrowland in the park or at outside the park at DTD.

Entering at DTD station is the same as going through security and the ticket turnstile at the main entrance.

If you don't want to eat in the park and would like to have a meal at one of the DTD establishments you can use the Monorail to go there and back to the park, it is good if you are tired of the food in the park or if someone wants to check a baseball score and/or wants to have a beer or glass of wine with dinner.

Using the Monorail to visit DTD for a few while in DL is a fun diversion and after awhile it makes you want to get back into the park, via Monorail of course.

fyi, the wait in DTD is not as long as the wait in TL. A lot more people take it out then back in. There is usually one running every 5-10 min so the wait in DTD is not usually that long.
