Hi there :wave2:

Where do we catch the monorail at M.K to get to the Contemporary resort
We are planning a visit to Chef Mickeys, is it worth it :confused3

Many thanks

:thumbsup2

Chef Mickey's is definately worth it. You can catch the monorail to the right as you exit MK or you can walk to the Cont.

Chef Mickey's is definitely worth it !! It's a must for us every trip. And we always do breakfast the first full day of our stay. Which means we'll be having breakfast with Mickey and his friends in 4 days !! Have fun ! :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Chef Mickeys is awesome!! We always have breakfast there on the last morning (save the best for last) lotsa fun, energy, and good food!!

There are signs at the exit of MK for resort monorails. Just get on that one. Don't forget that the castmembers will answer your questions.
Chef Mickeys is worth it. Make sure you make am adr for it though.

Chef Mickeys has good food and is alot of fun. A must do for us.
As you exit the park follow the signs for "resort monorail" or you can walk it,about 5 or so mins.

Thanks for the advice, i think we'll have to put Chef Mickeys into our timetable.
We arrive in 2 weeks and are there for 3 weeks, we've already booked all our adr's, do you think we'll be able to book when we first get on site ?

As others of stated, you can catch the monorail to the right as you exit the park. The walk to the CR will only take you about 10 minutes... Take the walkway to the left as you exit the park. The walk is enjoyable. Hope you have a great time at Chief Mickey's.:thumbsup2

If it were me, I would not want to take the chance by waiting until we got there. With free dining going on, many, many places are booked up. Now, that's not to say you won't be lucky and get one without any trouble, but it would make me nervous if it was something I really wanted to do. I called several weeks ago to get an ADR for Chef Mickey's on 9/4, and they didn't have breakfast OR dinner available - fortunately, because things were so busy due to free dining, they had added lunch for that time frame, and I was able to get a lunch ADR.

Just MHO! :cool2:

By the way -- does anyone know who the characters might be for lunch there? TIA

there are 2 monrails to the right - one is the express monrail it goes directly back to TTC

you want the monrail further away - the resort monrail. you have to ask a CM to remove the gate.

don't go up the express monrail thinking you can change once you get there -it doesn't work that way.

Probably not. Chef Mickey's has to be booked well in advance.
