Are you able to ride the monorail to the resorts and have a snack or lunch?

Yes. We spent part of Monday just riding the minor and checking out the different resorts to see where we might like to stay next.

The Polynesian station is closed; you can get off at the TTC and walk through the resort, and then walk over to the Grand Floridian to get back on the Monorail.

We're local and do this all the time. The QS at the resorts are so much more relaxed than those in MK and have more extensive menus. Like in-park QS, they strongly encourage you to use mobile ordering, but if you have food allergies you'll need to speak with a manager or chef.
