Monorail to MK

Wondering about parking at EPCOT in the morning and taking the monorail to MK. I assume they run early enough to get to MK well before it opens?

Also, anyone every time how long it takes once you get on the monorail (@ EPCOT) to the front gate at the MK?

The EPCOT monorail takes you to Ticket and Transportation. Then you have to catch the MK monorail. Sometimes the monorail from EPCOT sit there for 15/20 minutes before leaving.

I used to take park transportation all the time, but now I just drive. Now it saves so much time.

I would estimate that it will take 30 - 35 minutes to travel to the MK from EPCOT via monorail. The EPCOT monorail ends at the TTC. From there, you have to transfer to the MK express monorail to get to the MK. You could also take the ferry from the TTC to the MK or even the resort monorail, but of course, that stops at the Poly and GF before it gets to the MK.

I'm not sure what time the monorails start running in the morning, but I would guess that it is about an hour to an hour and one half before park opening.

The Future World area at Epcot is currently opening at 10:00 a.m., and the monorail will start running to Epcot about 30 minutes prior to opening. Therefore, you won't get to MK until at least an hour after it opens.
