We are having dinner at the Concourse Steakhouse on the day we arrive, and I am tring to figure out the logistics of getting there from our resort,CBR. I was thinking we would bus to the TTC, then ride the monorail to the Contemporay. Does anyone know if the Contemporary is the first stop after the TTC? Or does the resort monorail go the "other way" around the loop, stopping at Contemporary last? Im just trying to make sure I plan for enough time to get there.

Thanks in advance!!

TTC is after the Contemporary, so you would want to take the bus from CBR to the MK and then hop on the monorail to the Contemporary, or you can just walk there.

Just FYI... Resort buses do not run to the TTC. They will bring you right to the front of MK. The bus stop will leave you closer to the Contemporary than to the monorail...You can walk right over faster than walking to the monorail.

I agree that buses from the resorts no longer go to the TTC. As the previous poster said, take the bus to the MK and from the bus station you are maybe 5-7 minutes from the Contemporary. When you get on the sidewalk near the Magic Kingdom turn right....heading away from the MK entrance.... and just start walking.

My family is old school when it comes to WDW. We have been going to WDW since before I was born. The TTC used to be the central hub for transportation. NOT ANY MORE! We found this out in 2003. If you want to get anywhere in WDW using buses, Downtown Disney is your hub. We were at the MK heading back to the Coronado Springs and decided we wanted to ride the monorail (for the fun) to the TTC and then take a bus to the CSR. Wrong!
We then had to go back to MK then take the bus to our hotel.

Like previously stated, taking a bus to MK then monorial or walking is your best option.

We ate at the Concourse while staying at CBR, we caught a bus to Magic Kingdom, realized that we had WAY to much time left and rode the ferry over to the Poly (for coktails) and the monorail to Contemporary! Haha, we went so far out of the way, but like I said we had atleast an hour! It was very relaxing though, this was in the middle of our trip and we needed a break. Oh and if you take my advice be sure to grab a lapu lapu at the Polynesian!

Thanks guys! I suppose we will bus to MK, then either monorail or walk to the Contemporary depending on how much time we have left. :sunny:

Just to answer the OP's question, even though it now seems moot, the monorails go like this:

The local goes clockwise, stopping, in order from the TTC, like this: TTC, Poly, GF, MK, Contemporary. The express just loops from the TTC to the MK.
