Howdy~

After our July cruise, my parents, 2 DS (21 &23), DH and I will be staying a couple of days at WDW. We will not be going into the parks.
We thought a monorail ride would be fun. My mom uses an ECV and this would be easier for her. Any suggestions on what stops, sights, attractions to do along the monorail line? Any must-sees or must-dos?

Cheers!

Grand Floridian

Grand Floridian - there is an orchestra (a mini one) that plays there at various times of the day.

There is also a pianist in the lobby that is great, also at various times, but obviously doesn't conflict with the orchestra

Polynesian

You can get a Dole Whip at the Polynesian (I forgot the name of the snack stand, but it's outside).
There's also the Spirit of Aloha show but not sure whether you're looking at dining too, or just activities.
There's also a campfire / movie under the stars (campfire wasn't going when I went earlier this year due to the drought, I think)

Contemporary

There's also a campfire / movie under the stars (campfire wasn't going when I went earlier this year due to the drought, I think)

Those are all I can think of this early in the morning (6 am pacific here)

Thanks for your early response. LOL

I think the Grand Floridian and the Poly would provide plenty to see. From time to time we enjoy just wandering the lobby and grounds. There are plenty of lounges and places to eat. Pursue the menus to see if something catches your attention.

I might also suggest a ride on the ferry between the TTC and the MK. Once you are outside of the MK there is also a boat over to the WL that I am pretty sure would be ECV friendly.

I have to agree with all of these. Depending on the time of day you are there could change where you go. In the evening at the Poly they do a tiki lighting ceremony around dusk. They also offer hula lessons for free.
Poly, GF are great places to watch the night boat parade from the beach.
At each stop, go to the conceirge desk and ask them for an activities schedule. You don't need to be a guest of that particular resort to partake of the activities available at each resort.

We enjoy the monorail ride to epcot as well as around the resorts. We stay at the Contemporary and even changed to the magic kingdom monorail just to go through it non stop. But I am curious, why stay at WDW and not go to any park?
