Monorail start time for MK

I will be driving to the MK, I also like to be at the gates right before opening (about a half hour before). What time does the momorail start running from the Ticket and Transportation Center. Does it wait right until 9:00 a.m.

I thought that I read somewhere on these forums that they start running at 7:00 am (mostly because of early breakfast PSs). I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering about the running time for those not having a P.S. for a breakfast. I remember having to wait at the TTC once for the gates to open. I just do not remember the actual time they started to let us through.

The monorails might start running the loop around the resorts that early, but, I don't think they start running from the T&TC that early....I'm sure someone on here can help out with this....If I remember correctly, the transportation from the T&TC only starts going over at the most an hour before opening...I recall this because on our first trip down, we decided to drive to MK for early entry only to be held up at the T&TC and didn't get over to MK until everyone else

I have been enquiring about this since we have an early ps at MK on a non early entry day. This is what I've been told:

The non-resort monorail starts running at 8 am

The resort monorail starts running at 7 am

The MK parking lot opens at 7 am

Guest relations for MK opens at 7:30 am

So if the park opens at 9am, what time should I be off the monorail and standing in front of a turnstyle? What time do they start letting people in the turnstyles? (those without PS)

How about on EE days?

I would like to be at the turnstyle when they start letting people in, but I always miss it! (my dh is so slow in the AM!!) We always stay at the Poly but we are always at the turnstyle after it opens.
It might help dh if I knew what time exactly we had to be at the gate.

I would put a note on the Transportation board, and make sure you put the name "Tyler" in the subject line. He used to work for Disney transportation and is always happy to offer any help he can.

snacky, I'm not sure if your post is referring to my question or the OP..? I think kalamazoo seems to have already posted the monorail schedule, but I wondered what the turnstyle schedule was, lol. I guess Tyler might know that, especially now that he is at the PC, he always seems quite knowledgable about all things Disney, but not sure if I should post a "turnstyle" question on the transportation board...so, I guess you must be referring to the OP...?

Anyone, know when the turnstyles open?

If the official park opening is at 9am, the turnstiles will open at 9am....occassionaly they will open the turnstiles a little early...If you want to be among the first to get in the park; I would advise being at the turnstiles at least 30 minutes prior to official opening time...
