monorail social hour

First night arrival. Is there anyone who hit monorail and did the 3 hotel happy hour without the children. With 4 adults.

We've done it, but just DW and myself. Oddly enough, we always end up at US/IOA and Citywalk when we are with friends. Anyway, we used to get APs every year and eventually need a day of rest away from the parks. So we start at the Contemp and give the kids $40 on an arcade card. We then head out immediately to the Poly (leaving the kids behind - they were old enough) and get a drink, then GF, and then back to the Outer Rim at the Contemp which is much too close to the arcade since they moved it. Amazingly, most of the time, the kids still had money on their card, but if not, we'd suggest they go to the 10th floor and watch the monorails from up above. This would give us at least one more drink.

Alas, we got home yesterday. We would totally join you! We haven't been to the new tiki bar at the Polynesian, and are excited to try it! Enjoy your vacation!
