What does that mean fully automated? and when will it happen? Looks like its closed a lot, and in the morning when your trying to get to the parks... SAD :(

Ugh, the past 2 yrs staying at monorail resorts it hasn't been fully operational. Maybe 3yrs. How many years can it take :faint: Will it be in my lifetime??

LOL! I have wondered the same thing........I am not getting any younger!

Would really like to stay on the monorail at the Poly next visit with the Grand children - but I want a functional monorail! Otherwise, it will be at the CR again!

I LOVE the CR, but we still haven't stayed at the Poly together. It feels like a long wait because we started planning to stay here just before the Poly started renovations. Years change a lot with small children and you just can't get those times back.

We will make the best of it but a fully functional Polynesian resort WITH MONORAIL is my dream. Just like what I and my kids experienced when we were young.

Last Aug at the Poly, you really had to pay attention to monorail sched! One morning we thought Epcot monorail was running so we walked to TTC, only to find out oops, wrong morning and ended up having to bus. Could have skipped the walk in 90 degree heat and just picked up bus at Poly

OK, so if I'm reading the info up above correctly, that means if I have an 8am b'fast ADR at Garden Grill on a Monday morning, I need to take the BUS from the GF??

:confused3

No human driving/controlling them.

There's been no announced completion date.

Yup.
In my opinion there should be a person driving not run by automation... What if something happens there will be no one there to stop it...

In the long run, it is probably cheaper to run an automated system instead of having to pay drivers.

Hopefully nothing will happen to need someone on board to stop it.

Just a little clarification please...understand each specific line closures.
Confused by:
Monorail closure 11:30 am - 6pm on Tuesdays etc..

Already have specific Resort, Express and Epcot closures listed.

What does the general Monorail closure refer to?
