Monorail schedule?

How often does the monorail run (on a weekday in May) - is it every 15 minutes? If it's less often than that, is there a schedule of when it stops in tomorrowland? Is there usually a line where you have to wait for more than one to come through before you get on? Thanks!

Like any ride it could be walk on or could be a very long wait.

Sometimes they run 2 monorails and other times only 1. When 1 is run it will be about 15 minutes between arrivals. If there is much of a line it could take 2 or 3 monorails before you get on.

We boarded in downtown Disney and waited only 10 minutes and got on the next monorail. We later attempted to board at tomorrowland. There was only 1 monorail running and a very long line down the walkway. We decided not to bother with an estimated 45 minute wait.

There really isn't a true "schedule". It does come faster than every 15 minutes as they usuallu are running 2 at a time. It will have a line up but it will usually get everyone on unless you want to ride in the front.

Well, the wait usually depends on which station you are boarding in and whether or not it's peak season. In off season they generally only run monorail but during peak season they try to run more. We've waited as little as 5 min and we've walked away from waits as long as 45-60 min. Usually the longer waits are in DTD to get back into the parks after fireworks or in the park people wanting to leave.

For guests in wheelchairs and ECVs as well as large nonfolding strollers that do not fit in the regular doors there can be a long wait. They can only load one or two items in that large door. I can fold my wheelchair and was willing to go in another door but they wanted me in that big door.

Guests using DLR rentals must leave them on the loading platform then take a round trip. To board go all the way around the Nemo line to the lagoon. Keep the railing on the lagoon on your left then proceed up the line to elevator. AT the DTD you enter through the wide gate then take the elevator up and exit to your right.

I usually wait 5 to 15 minutes and lately they were running blue and orange. The last monorail leaves DLR at closing time and it is a long walk. I made that mistake 4 or 5 years ago and never again. Like the trains the loop is a set time and divide by the number of vehicles in use to figure the wait time approximately. When running two monorails they wait while fully loaded until the incoming monorail is heading over Autopia just before that loop around the Matterhorn or there abouts.
