Monorail Resort to Epcot AM EMH

We'll be staying at the Polynesian this coming June on a day when Epcot will have morning Extra Magic Hours. Is the monorail an efficient method for getting to Epcot before the start of morning EMH? We want to be able to make the most of the hour, and not arrive at the park partway into it.

I assume walking over to the TTC is the quickest way to go. Any suggestions for what time we should arrive at the TTC to get to Epcot on time for morning EMH? Also, are there any maps or explanations anyone could share about getting to the TTC from the Polynesian? I've never gone that route before.

The walkway is at the east end of the resort, past Pago Pago. Here is the map:

The Times Guide says the Monorail opens at 7:30. If you get on the first train, I think you should be there by opening time, but you won't be at the front of the crowd if you wanted to RD something.

If you want to be in the front of the EMH group you should probably Lyft/Uber/Minnie Van.
