Monorail refurbishment

hi, i read on two Disney sites that the monorail was being refurbished until further notice with possible limited schedule and alternative transportation. But not much more info. Anyone experience this yet? Or anyone know the times it will be running/not running ?

That note has been on Disney's refurbishment list for several years now, although I'm not sure why. There was a time a few years ago when daily closures were common and there was a lot of disruption, but that hasn't been the case for awhile now. Baring mechanical closures, I'd expect relatively normal monorail hours. Your post more than just helps, GADisney Dad! You've prevented a major panic. I'm very relieved. (And a little embarrassed i was reading something not current). But it was on 2 differrent sites - wdwinfo and undercover tourist. Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to answer!
