Monorail Question

This will be our first stay at a Monorail resort and I have almost zero experience with it. So, traveling from Epcot to CR.... EP>TTC (switch to Resort Monorail) then to Poly>GF>MK>CR. That sounds time-comsuming. How about...EP>TTC (switch to Express Monorail) then to MK>10 minute walk to CR? Or does it really matter? I may be overthinking this thing. :surfweb:

Probably overthinking. If you took the express line to MK and walked to the CR, it might be a bit faster, depending on your walking pace. Depends on if you feel lazy.

You're overthinking it. Taking the express monorail and walking might save you 2 to 3 minutes.

Don't rely on the monorail.

We were in WDW and stayed at CR from 7/23/15 - 7/30/15, and the monorail was out of operation for half of our vacation. We had days when it was down for a couple of hours and one day that it didn't work the entire day.

You are better off taking the bus to Epcot, and if you get lucky and the monorail is working upon your return, you can take it back to your resort. Be prepared to leave early and check with a CM before you go anywhere to make sure that the monorail is up and running.
