You would have to walk through Epcot, there is no walking path outside of Epcot from Boardwalk. There is no bus from Boardwalk to the front of Epcot.

Wow That seems like a long walk.. Do you know how far it is? Half mile? So what happenes if im at Magic Kingdom till closing and take the Monorail back to Epcot and they are closed How do I get back to the Boardwalk Villas?

It's more than half a mile, not sure exactly though. You'd need to have a park hopper ticket to enter Epcot at the International Gateway, walk to the front to exit & go to the monorail station, then get into MK.

If Epcot is closed you can't take the monorail there from MK. I mean you can, but then you're stuck at the front entrance to Epcot with no bus to BW. At that point you'd have to take the monorail back to MK to get a bus to BW, or take a bus to another park to get a bus to BW. Or take a taxi back to BW. You could take the bus to DHS & then the boat back to BW but that's going to take awhile. Plan on an hour from the time you leave MK via monorail to Epcot, transfer by bus to DHS, to arrive at BW via DHS & the Friendship Boats.

Your best bet is to just get on the BW bus when you leave MK. Or are you specifically trying to avoid the buses?

Thank you for the info. Yes that was my plan to try to avoid usig the buses

The only way I can think of to avoid a bus when leaving MK to get to BW, if Epcot is closed, is to take a cab. If there's another way, someone here will know it!

If Epcot isn't closed & you have park hoppers, you can monorail from MK to Epcot, enter Epcot at the front & walk through to the International Gateway (not a short walk with 3 little ones after a day at the park), then exit at the IG & walk back to BW. We've done this many times when staying at S/D or BC, but not to avoid a bus, just to meander through Epcot, to get a specific snack there, or get 1 more ride in, or to watch Illuminations on our way back.

Good luck!

Usually the only bus I use from BWV is to MK. Service is usually good, especially during the morning opening time. Most of the time it's Boardwalk-Swan-Dolphin, although one trip when I was there in May was just Boardwalk.

I think it would be at least a mile to walk from Boardwalk to the Epcot front entrance.

Disney's BoardWalk has bus service to:
  • Magic Kingdom (directly to the park's bus area, not to TTC)
  • Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom
  • Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon

Disney's BoardWalk has boat service to:
  • Epcot
  • Hollywood Studios

It usually takes less time to walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios than to take a boat, but some guests prefer the boats anyway.

The three Monorail routes are of limited value to Boardwalk guests. From the Magic Kingdom, the Resort line is a fun way to visit the resorts around Seven Seas Lagoon. And, for park-hopping between the Magic Kingdom to Epcot, using the Express line plus the Epcot line is the efficient and fun solution.

It will take you about 30 mins to get from BWV to the front of Epcot/monorail platform. By the time you got there, you could have been in MK already.
Not sure why you are trying to avoid the buses but that's just not a good plan when heading to MK from BWV. Just take the bus..you may or may not stop at the YC/BC..so it could take well under 30 mins if you don't have a long wait for the bus to get to BWV.
Using Epcot/monorail between MK and the Epcot resorts is not a great solution.
