Monorail question

Okay I hope this isn't a totally dumb question but I cant find the answer to this on my own so I am needing all of your expertise!
We are staying at the GF - we only have 4 day parkhoppers and so we will be there a couple of days w/o park admissions. We had planned to enjoy the resort and do some exploring on the 2 days we are not in the parks. We are not renting a car so WDW transpo is crucial for us.
Can we take the monorail from the GF (say to go to the Contemporary Resort or the PR? Or even to go to the TTC) WITHOUT park tickets?
In otherwords can a hotel guest get on the monorail w/o showing park admission - or just to ride on the monorail?javascript:smilie('')

You're fine. No park admission is required to ride the monorail, so you'll be able to take the monorail to explore the Contemporary or the Poly, or take the buses to DTD.

All WDW resort guests are entitled to use WDW transportation. It is one of the benefits of staying on site. If you are questioned (and there is very, very little chance of that), just show them your resort ID!

The resort monorail starts running at about 7:15. The express monorail at about 8:45 (just in time for the MK opening at 9:00). The Epcot monorail starts at about 8:15.
