Monorail playsets

I'm desperate!! We were in Disney this past Oct. and my son fell in love (so did his parents! LOL) with the monrail track playset. We bought it for him to give to him for Christmas. We didn't want to spend the money then on the "other" playsets for the monorail track system, at that time figuring that we would order it this month for his birthday in Feb. Specifically the EPCOT and Disney Studios Sorcerer's Hat Playsets. I called Disney merchadise today and they told me that they no longer make or sell these items, that they are discontinued. Does ANYONE know how I can get my hands on these two playsets? I know the prices were around $45 area. Thanks in advance!

Have you checked ebay? My ds loved those sets when we saw them and I looked into getting him one and ebay had a bunch of them. Good luck!!

I've been able to get some of them at the Disney outlets in Orlando and St Augustine - you might want to try there. Sorry but I don't have a phone number for the stores but I do remember they are located at the Prime Outlets.

I got an epcot set and an MGM set at Character Premiere in the Prime Outlets. I also got my son the die cast mommo-rail as he calls it lol but not the set even though he bugged me for it.

they were $20 each set at the outlet store. But if I can be perfectly honest, they aren't worth it. Spaceship Earth broke the first time he played with it. (he's 4). The Hat, well...its ok, but the little rooms are so small inside of it, and he lost the little disney characters within the 1st week. The hat's way to small to use for little people or any of the other toys out there.

We had them shipped cuz we didn't want to bother with trying to get them on the plane. when they arrived, there was no packing materials in the box! just tossed in the box and off they went and i guess if they broke in transit it was our own problem.

Save your money...thats my .02 cents
