My father-in-law was a monorail pilot when the park opened in '71.
A few years ago, they found the location of one of the old "Mark IV" monorails here in Georgia, so they went to visit.
I pasted the inset picture in there to cover up family in the shot, and for reference.
Whenever we go to WDW, a ride is mandatory.

Absolutely love it.....Best mode of transportation taken from the best resort on property (IMHO)

...I thought so too....that is, until I rode the gondolas....they ARE pretty fun!
