Monorail or Ferry?

Do you prefer the monorail or the ferry from the TTC to MK, and why?

Monorail. In over 14 trips to WDW, I have yet to try out the big ferry. I have used the smaller shuttle ferries to GF and Polynesian, but never the big one from the TTC.

I prefer the monorail because I love listening to the recorded speil that they have. The ferry is so quiet!

They take about the same amount of time to get to MK from the TTC.

I think everyone needs to try both at some point.... come on goofy4tink...... gotta give it a try!

We like both, but use the monorail the most. Occasionally though, the ferry is a nice change of pace and great photo op.

I love the monorail, but the ferry is usually a lot less crowded. It is easier with a large stroller and you can walk around.

We almost ALWAYS go directly to the monorail, the only time we ever take the ferry is on the way back from MK, if the monorail lines are long. I was just wondering why the monorail seems so much more popular, and figured I would ask here! Thanks for the replies!!

I agree, we like both and do both when we used to stay at the Poly, just for a sense of adventure. We enjoy the smaller boat to the MK too from the boat dock, so staying there and using the monorail is not a plus for us. We've seen the monorail jammed in the evening leaving the MK at closing time and a bigger rush of people can board the big ferry in a hurry and the short walk from the TTC to the Poly is quite nice in the evening.

We usually stay at the WL now but do boat to the CR and monorail to the TTC and take the ferry, just so we do just about everything there is to do. Hey, we even take the boat from DTD to POFQ and bus back to the MK and boat back to WL while we're there. We're on vacation and the inside of a rental or our own car is seen enough when we're home. We use all the services of transportation Disney offers, relax, sit back and enjoy the trip and scenery.

We take whatever is the less crowded. if the ferry has been loading then we will take that if it's unloading we will go to the Mrail . Same thing if MRail is crowded or just pulled out then we go to the ferry.

I agree they sould both be tried and at night both are very nice trips.
