I am confused by something I just read and thought you guys could clarify for me. I know with both the poly and CR you can access monorail for both MK and Epcot. Is one easier to use then the other in terms of stops? I just read that the poly is easier to use for getting to MK and Epcot and wondered why? Don't you have to transfer to ttc for both cr and poly to get to Epcot?

Are there two different loops as well, one for resorts and one for parks? When we were there we just got on the first one we got and it got us to MK so wondering if we missed something!

If you stay at the Poly, you can just walk over to the TTC and catch the monorail to Epcot. That's why people say it's easier (and faster) getting to Epcot from the Poly. (And it would take much longer to take the resort monorail to the TTC then transfer to the Epcot monorail).

There are actually 3 monorail loops. Two of them are concentric with the tracks right next to each other and they run from the TTC to Poly to GF to MK to CR and back to TTC. The monorails on one of these loops only stop at TTC and MK, while the other is the resort loop that makes all the stops.

Then for Epcot there is a separate monorail loop that runs from the TTC to Epcot. This means you have to switch monorails at the TTC to get from a MK area resort to Epcot. From Poly, you can walk straight to the TTC and avoid one of the two monorail trips.

I hope that clarifies it a little bit. :thumbsup2

For MK, it is easiest from CR since there is a walkway. It takes about 10 minutes to walk it.

If staying at CR, it's easiest to walk to MK. The monorail to MK from CR does the entire loop- CR-TTC-Poly-GF then MK. But going back to CR it's only 1 stop.
For Epcot you have to go to TTC and change to Epot monorail.

For Poly, it's only a quick stop at GF, then MK. You also have the option of a boat to MK. We usually took the monorail to MK, then the boat back.
For EP we just walked on the path to TTC.

So IMO Poly had the best transportation.
