Monorail loop - currently open outdoor dining?

Looking for kid friendly outdoor dining, all meals, on the monorail loop. Please and thanks! We DO have a car, but are avoiding Disney springs. Any exceptional but easy drive to locations all of us will love also welcome. Thank you x1,000!

You might not be permitted to enter a resort without an ADR by driving. You'll need to take Disney transportation to any place you want to eat counter service.

The only one I know of that has any outdoor seating is Capt Cook's. Maybe one of the QS at the Grand. But none of the TS restaurants have outdoor dining.

And as the PP said, you likely will not be allowed to drive into the resorts without an ADR - which, again, nothing outdoor as far as I know.

Yes, Gasparilla Grill (QS) at Grand Floridian has some outdoor seating, but the view right now is of the blue NBA bubble wall.

Thanks. I'm not really familiar with the Grand. I've only been there for 1900 Park Fare breakfast YEARS ago. The hotel is not my style, so I've never investigated it further.

Sounds like we need to be just making reservations! Gosh but where. We are Disney veterans, but very genuinely haven’t eaten anywhere in doors and wanted to avoid it.... maybe not possible?

Not table service at the monorail resorts. They have never had outdoor dining to my knowledge. (Other than Spirit of Aloha which is not showing.)

I believe there are places at Disney Springs that have some outdoor seating.

MK - maybe the Plaza Inn? I don’t know if Tony’s does. Skipper Canteen and LTT do not.

Epcot - Rose & Crown might be using their space for regular dining since no night show is going on. Spice Road Table I think is open. Not sure if there are any others.

AK - Nomad Lounge -but that menu is limited and no reservations. Not sure about Yak...

Studios - no clue as I skip that park.

Your best bet will be Disney Springs if you are wanting reservations AND outdoor seating - though the outdoor part would be a request.

If you're willing to take the monorail or Disney bus, you can eat the QS at the resorts, I think most of them have an outdoor option. Geyser grill at wilderness lodge is all outdoors... again you'd need to take Disney transport there.

For parks, most QS have outdoor seating options. I think the only TS outdoor options are at Epcot--Rose and Crown in UK and Spice Road Table in Morocco.

Lots of people have been asking about outdoor dining, take a look at some other threads here for ideas and reviews. We did indoor dining at Disney... hadn't been in a restaurant since early March. The only places that we felt way too close to people were Kona, and 50s Prime Time. San Angel inn would be another to avoid as we could see the tables were too close from the ride. The Wave at Contemporary and Sci-fi had the most space between parties, felt the safest.
